Coming January Nirvaan will celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship by showcasing the best of India’s creative ideas, nurturing them into reality to empower Indian economy

Nirvaan is the annual entrepreneurship summit organized by Abhiyan, the entrepreneur-ship cell of IIM Lucknow. This is an initiative aimed at nurturing the spirit of entrepreneur-ship and bringing together people sharing a common interest in Entrepreneurship.

Come January, Nirvaan will showcase the best of India’s young entrepreneurs, to let the par-ticipants get a chance to interact closely with them, to understand what goes into making top entrepreneurs. In past years it has provided a solid platform to various start-ups by offering VC and angel funding, mentoring, networking and incubation opportunities to them. This year theme of Nirvaan 10 is “Empowering India, Empowering World” with a special emphasis on social entrepreneurship .

Nirvaan in the past has seen guests like Raman Roy (founder, Wipro Spectramind), Sanjeev Bikhchandani (CEO and co-founder, Naukri.com), Sanjay Bhargava (Founder, Paypal) and VC firms like IndiaCo, NirmaLabs and Band of Angels mentoring and evaluating the participants.
